Abstract

Students who have high self-confidence have no problem speaking in front of the class or expressing their opinions. But this situation is inversely proportional to students who have low self-confidence because they are afraid when making mistakes even though it is only small mistakes since they are afraid to be blasphemed, laughed at or humiliated and from that incident students do not want to learn and improve their speaking ability again as usual. This situation results in difficulties for students in learning languages when they are forced to make sentences without learning adequate grammar and vocabulary structures.
