Education is the main key to opening world views and achieving freedom, along with developments in time and technology. The significant changes that educational institutions have experienced recently are the result of adaptation to technological advances and the modernization of society. Educational institutions that are unable to adapt to these developments risk being left behind. In this context, the role of leadership in education becomes increasingly important. Educational leadership involves developing the potential of individuals and school communities to achieve higher educational goals. The principal, as a leader, plays a crucial role in guiding this process. Research shows that a school principal's visionary leadership has a direct impact on the quality of education by providing clear direction to teachers thereby increasing performance and productivity. This research emphasizes the importance of visionary leadership strategies to improve the quality of education and outlines the positive changes that occur along with these improvements. This research uses the library method by collecting reference sources related to the problem being studied. The data obtained was analyzed by understanding and taking basic material to important aspects. The results of this research show that improving the quality of education depends on the visionary leadership of school principals. Visionary school leaders can design and implement strategic changes, improve school and teacher performance, and face educational challenges through innovation. This fosters the active participation of the school community, so that the school reaches higher standards of educational quality and has a positive effect on student academic achievement.
