Abstract

Thisstudyaimstoexplore the importantroleofeducationleadershipinintegratingtechnologywithlocalwisdominelementaryschoolsinIndonesia,aswellasidentifythechallengesandgapsintechnologyaccess that existbetweenurbanandruralareas,aswellas limitations incurriculumdevelopmentthatintegratesthesetwoaspects.Byapplying the literaturereviewmethod,thisstudyexaminesvariousliteraturetounderstand the impactofeducationalleadershipontechnologyintegrationpoliciesandtheproblemsfaced.The findings suggestthateducationleadershipplays a keyroleinformulatingpoliciesthatintegratetechnologywithlocalwisdom,althoughtherearestillsignificantgapsinaccesstotechnologyandbarrierstocurriculumdevelopment.Theproposedrecommendationsincludethedevelopmentofmoreinclusivepolicies,increasedinvestmentintechnologyinfrastructure,theprovisionofeffectivetrainingforteachers,andthestrengtheningofcollaborationwithlocalcommunitiestocreatecurriculathatarenotonlyrelevantbutalsosupport the preservationoflocalculture.
