Peer Review Process

Jurnal Warna: Early Childhood Education and Learning, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Widya Gama Mahakam University Samarinda. Research articles that enter this online journal will be double-blind peer-reviewed (both reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other) by a minimum of 2 (two) reviewers. Accepted research articles will be available online after the journal's peer review process. The languages used in this journal are Indonesian and English.

For Plagiarism checking, the  Editor of Jurnal Warna: Early Childhood Education and Learning will manually screen for plagiarism (offline and online databases) on the Title, Abstract, and Body Text of the manuscript, and by using the Turnitin plagiarism detection software. If an indication of plagiarism is found, the editorial board will immediately reject the manuscript

 

Review Process:

  1. The editor receives the manuscript from the author;
  2. The editor evaluates the manuscript (the purpose and scope of the journal, in-house style, complementary data); (Rejected if it doesn't meet the criteria)
  3. Manual filtering of editors for plagiarism on offline and online databases; (Rejected if major plagiarism is found, the author is contacted if redundancy or minor plagiarism is found for clarification)
  4. The editor sends the manuscript to the reviewer along with the review form (double blind review, both the reviewer and the author remain anonymous to each other);
  5. The reviewer sends the review form back to the Editor (with a revised manuscript if necessary);
  6. Editor's decision (rejected, requires major revision, needs minor revision, or accepted);
  7. Confirmation to the Author.
  8. If it is revised, the manuscript is revised and should be returned to the editor without delay. Returned more than two months later will be considered a new submission.
